Yvette Chauviré is one of the greatest French ballerinas "Prima Ballerina Assoluta". A legend in the words of Rudolf Noureev, one of her great admirers, who presents her throughout the film.
Yvette Chauviré bad farewell to the stage in 1972, dancing the roles of "Giselle" and "The Dying Swan". But today she continues to dance, passing the secrets of her art to the stars of the Paris Opera.
In this film we see her rehearsing with Sylvie Guillem, Florence Clerc, Monique Loudières, Marie-Claude Pietragalla, Elisabeth Maurin and also with Dominique Khalfouni, principal dancer with Roland Petit.
