At the beginning of the twentieth century, Germany, a Country without dance which contrary to France, Italy and Russia, seemed unable to lay claim to a real danse tradition, became the centre of one of the most varied and innovative dance movements. Spreading rapidly, just after the First World War, this free (or expressionnist) dance was to influence European and American dance history.
These two programmes tell the story of this movement.
