In 1989, François Verret, one of the most forthcoming French choreographers, proposed to Rosella Hightower to make a stage come-back at the age of 72, she barely hesitated. The performance "L et Eux... la Nuit" has toured the whole of Europe.
As a result of this meeting, François Verret decided to make a film on Rosella Hightower. His passion for images and fascination for aging artists led him to follow and film her where her career and her need for inspiration had led her. From New York to Belle Isle, from Cannes to Chateauvallon, François Verret fixes a very sensitive attention on this great artist, witness of the last "Monsters" of classical ballet.
