Bier and Zwerg. On one side a fascinating and consuming passion, on the other a certain amount of reality. Seen from above in a historical manner, and in a realistic way from below, the result in an unusual fictional documentary. A charming, intimate moment where Mr Bier plays himself and Mr Zwerg tells a mysterious story of the role dwarves have played in the cinema. Illustrated with photos, posters, extracts from films and trailers, "Dwarves in the cinema" rolls out the red carpet for the small actors. But here no one talks about small actors. The adjective is left out and actors, they certainly are. "Dwarves in the cinema" is a humorous way of portraying the history of cinema in a new light while pleading for the right to be different.
